Last Wednesday we hosted our annual Veterans Day dinner for all of our local Veterans. Student body council did an amazing job greeting, seating and serving. Thank you all who served and are still serving this country of ours ❤️🤍💙

Wednesday November 9th, 2022 at 6:00pm Huntington High School will be hosting our annual Veterans Dinner for all of our local Veterans. We sent out invitations last week but if you have yet to receive one please feel free to come and enjoy a meal with entertainment from our students and meet other veterans in our community. Please RSVP so we can make sure we have enough seating and servers for this event. Thank you all for your service. The sacrifices you and your family has made has not gone unseen. Because of you all putting your life on the line we are able to live in this beautiful country of ours.

Mark your calendar’s!!! If you ordered PIZZA KITS from the middle school they will be in on Tuesday November 8, 2022. The students will be out delivering the kits after school. Today some of our elementary students had visitors from the Weiser Elks Lodge! Every year they bring the K-2nd grade coloring books and 3rd grade dictionaries!!! We truly appreciate them!!

Guess what time it is!? It's Chicken BBQ time!!! Come support the Senior Class of 2023 and get some DELICIOUS Chicken BBQ with baked beans and a bag of chips!! Cost: $10 a plate When: November 5th, 2022 12pm to 3pm (or until sold out) Where: Huntington School by the cafeteria doors **The Senior class has been selling tickets but you can buy at the event! Please make sure if you bought a ticket that you bring it with you! Thank you all for your support of our students!!

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES: WHEN: October 27th, 2022 8:00am to 3:00pm Elementary will be held in their classes. MS/HS will be held in the Gym. Report Cards will be with their advisors. PRESCHOOL: There will be no preschool today! We can't wait to see all the littles next Monday!

UPDATE: Due to the weather and the roads, the Baker County Health Department will be here at 10:00am instead of 9:00am.

Baker City Health Department will be here: WHEN: Tuesday October 25th 9am to 11am WHERE: HHS Gym This is open to the public that would like to come by and get a flu shot, covid shot or a covid booster. The health department asks that you contact them or the school so they are able to get a rough estimate on how many of each shot to bring. **IF your student is in need of vaccinations a letter was sent at the end of September with what vaccination was/is needed.

Next Tuesday October 25th at 8am Advantage Dental will be here to do free dental services for our students. Packets were sent home with the students yesterday if you need a new one please stop by the office. By turning in your students paperwork (even if they won't be seen) they have the chance to help their advisors win a gift card to use for their classrooms. IF your student is seen by Advantage their name will go into a drawing for a gift card!

Thursday October 20th at 6:30pm our Lady Locos take on the Jordan Valley Mustangs in Jordan Valley for their spot in the district game. We would LOVE to black their stands out with some of our LOCO PRIDE!! The school has it planned to take a CHEER Crowd bus to Jordan Valley. We have seats open to Middle School, High School and our community members who would like to attend the game. This is a school event so please know that ALL school rules apply if riding the bus. This is a league playoff game so they will be charging admission. All MS/HS students who are attending need to pay the office before Thursday morning. Prices: $6.00 for students $8.00 for adults Please call the school at 541-869-2204 if you would like to claim a spot.

Today is our HOMECOMING GAME DAY!!! Come support our student athletes this afternoon!!! Locos vs Joseph Eagles @ 1pm Lady Locos vs Joseph Eagles @ 4pm We will also be honoring our Senior athletes before their games. This year we have 4 football players and 1 volleyball player.

Today was our last big dress up day, Adam Sandler day. I do have to say that our kiddos did an awesome job!!
