8:30am to 12pm and then 4pm 6pm

It's going to be a very hot day please remember water and sunscreen!!
Just a reminder next Monday May 6th, 2024 at 12:00pm we will be having FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS in the school gym.
OSAA requires that every 2 years you recieve a new sports physical in order to participate in any MS or HS sport.
Even if your student athlete received one this year I would suggest getting it done again and letting your two years restart.
We have physical forms in the office for parents to come and sign OR your student can take it home and bring it back signed.
From the health department: Oregon law allows for adolescents 15+ to consent for general medical care.

Tomorrow April 30th at 12:45pm we will be starting our Annual Basketball 3 on 3 tournament!!
We will have a concessions for this event!

2024-2025 incoming Kindergarten students:
Due to the current situation with the city's water supply, the Huntington School District has made the decision to cancel school for Tuesday, April 16th as a precautionary measure. School will resume on Wednesday April 17, 2024.
Mark Your Calendars for this awesome opportunity we will be having on Monday May 6th 2024!!

Sports physicals need to be renewed every 2 years per OSAA. Stop by the office and see if you will need one for next school years sports!

Just a reminder that tomorrow April 4th 2024 we have no school due to a teachers work day for training.
**HS Track team will have practice at 8:00am**
Tomorrow March 21, 2024 is our HS Track team's first meet in Harper Oregon at 1pm. The bus will leave Huntington at 10:45am, however, the track team needs to be at the school at 9:45am.

Next months happenings:
All elementary students receive these from their teachers. There are copies in front of the office.
Reminder tomorrow is Parent/Teacher conferences.
There will be NO SCHOOL for our students but they are highly encouraged to attend the meetings with their parents.
Elementary Conferences will be held in the teachers rooms. All students brought home notes from their teachers with their time slots.
MS/HS Conferences will be held in the gymnasium from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Today Mrs. Stroup took our Senior Class to BSU for a campus tour, while there they made their way to "The Blue"

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
On April 4th, 2024 Huntington Staff will be participating in a Student Safety Training in Ontario Oregon.
After much talk we have decided to make April 4th 2024 a NO SCHOOL DAY so that all staff members can attend the training.
